At WIO-COMPAS, we believe professional recognition should be accessible to all qualified marine professionals. We strive to keep certification affordable by covering most core costs through donor support — and offering partial scholarships to those in need.

Certification Fees
The certification fee is due only after you’re accepted into the programme

Renewal Fee
Certified MPA PROs are required to renew their certification every 5 years.

A limited number of partial scholarships are available each year, based on demonstrated financial need.

You may apply to the programme free of charge. Only once your application has been accepted, will the certification fee be applicable.
Certification Fees
The certification fee is due only after you’re accepted into the programme. This fee reserves your place in a specific assessment cohort.
Note: The fee amount varies depending on available donor support. Final costs and payment instructions will be communicated directly by the WIO-COMPAS Secretariat.
